Our Individual Grants Program provides direct support to those seeking to improve the quality of their lives through continued education in literacy or vocational/technical training.
Grant requests may be submitted on behalf of an individual by an Altrusa Club, ASTRA Club, or District. Awards are designed to remove barriers to opportunity—helping a student pay tuition, purchase essential materials, or access training programs that lead to sustainable careers.
Individual Grants may also support students from developing countries who need financial assistance to complete their studies. By providing resources at a critical point in their educational journey, the Foundation helps individuals unlock their potential and make meaningful contributions to their communities.
Awards typically range from $250 to $2,500 and may only be received once per individual. This ensures that the Foundation’s resources are available to support as many deserving students as possible.
