Since 1962, the Altrusa International Foundation has demonstrated a strong and enduring commitment to serve communities both here in the United States and abroad. We advance this commitment by supporting local Altrusans in their community efforts to provide for the care and enrichment of those most in need.

Our annual impact includes:

• $150,000 awarded to Altrusa and ASTRA Clubs and Districts, empowering them to deliver meaningful community service projects, expand outreach efforts, promote literacy, and provide vital educational programming that directly benefits children, families, and under-resourced communities.
• $20,000 awarded to support international agencies advancing critical educational and healthcare initiatives, as well as camps that provide life-changing opportunities for children living with disabilities and serious illnesses.
• $30,000 distributed through our disaster relief aid program, providing timely support to communities facing natural disasters and other crises.

In the 2023–2025 Biennium, over $421,000 distributed in grants, support, scholarships, and awards—benefiting Clubs and Districts, camps for children with medical needs, first responders in disaster zones, international healthcare providers, scholarship recipients, and individuals in need.

We are a collective of more than 7,000 servant leaders who generously give their time, talent, and resources to strengthen communities and bring hope where it is needed most.
